About

At Calvary, you will not find “perfect people”, but people who are being perfected as we grow in our knowledge of, and relationship with, Christ.

We recognize that church is not a place to GO TO, but a people to be SENT FROM as we engage and encourage our community with the love of Christ and intentionally seek to help others experience the matchless grace that has given us hope, joy, and purpose in a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Psalms 118:24) “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalms 100:2-3) “Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. (Psalm 95:1-6) “Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land”
(Psalm 150:1-6) “Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”

If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is in vain, and so is your faith.”
Lamentations 3:22-23- “Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness!”

Nicole Leduc, Children's Director

My name is Nicole Leduc. I am wife to Joe and mom to Kayla, Briana, Alex, and Addelyn. I have been going to Calvary since December 2011. I got baptized in January 2012. I have served in Children's since 2012. I became Awana Commander in 2017/2018. I love teaching children about Jesus and His love for us. It gives me peace to be able to tell people about Jesus and what He is about and how much you need Him in everything you do. I think it is so important to bring our kids up learning the love of Jesus and knowing the reason we go to church. Psalm 127:3 “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.” I really lean into that verse when it comes to teaching kids. They are a gift from God always. They are our next generation. Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in a way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” My favorite bible verses: 1 Peter 5:6-7: “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” John 10:28: “And I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.” Joshua 1:9: “ Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you where you go.” John 14:27: “ Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”

Our Beliefs

Tap on any of the images below to see more

GOD

We believe that there is One God Who is Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler over all things. He is superlative in all His attributes: all-powerful, all-knowing, present to all things, and the source and standard of moral perfection. He eternally exists and has revealed Himself as three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

BIBLE

We believe that the Bible is the Holy Word of God. It is inspired in every detail. The Bible is complete and without error. Since the Bible is the infallible Word of God, it is the sole authority in all matters of life. The Bible is the basis for truth. The Bible is sufficient to change lives; therefore, we prioritize the teaching and preaching of God’s Word.

JESUS

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only means of Salvation. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, suffered death as payment of the penalty of the sins of humanity, was literally, physically raised from the dead on the third day, visibly ascended into heaven, and is presently seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for man.

SALVATION

We believe that salvation is effected only through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. Salvation is a free gift of God, appropriated by repentance and faith on the part of the person. Salvation is not awarded based on the merits of any man but is only available through Jesus Christ by faith. We believe that all people are created to exist eternally. Those who have received salvation will exist eternally in the presence of God, while those who reject the gift of salvation will exist eternally- separated from God.

CHURCH

We believe that the church was instituted by Jesus Christ who stated that He would be the builder of the church. The purpose of the church must include these five (5) components: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry, and Evangelism/Missions.

We are a Southern Baptist Church.  We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
